£16.99 to rent a kids movie on sky

Am I out of touch? Is this a bit steep to rent a kids animated movie? I know we could go to the cinema and it would be more but it seems extortionate!

That is a lot!
Which movie?

Which movie. Is it new and on in cinemas?

What would it cost you to see it in a cinema?

If it is that much then it is a film that is currently out at the cinema. These have been the prices sky has been charging for brand new films to stream since lockdown started.

If you don't want to pay it, take your kids to the cinema. Which will probably cost more.

I'm not advocating this, but it's probably on you tube for free if you look hard enough.

Spirit.

Yep I know it would about £30ish in the cinema. I'd rather pay that for the 'experience' and to sleep in the recliners!

Having seen the much anticipated, over-hyped Mulan films that have been released like this when they became free, I can confirm that it's not with the money and it's best to wait.

It's cheaper to buy the Blu Ray disc and then you can have repeated viewings any time you fancy - obviously you need a Blu Ray player though!
