Combi microwave

How do you use yours? What for? It looks like an oven but is also a microwave (metal inside … mind blowing)

It’s new and I’m a bit scared.

I haven't used the combi function much but it does a good jacket potato in 10 mins. I put the convection oven bit on to 180, the microwave power on high and set for 10 mins.

So…I’m going to sound dim, but both at the same time?

Yes I have one on special jacket potato button the grill kicks in every few minutes. Apart from that not risked it! Have a metal stand that can use for something but feels really odd metal inside. Think ready meals with cheese can use combo and it will heat and grill top like oven but again never worked out how.

I use it regularly. Just yesterday to roast a huge head of hispi cabbage in wedges - 30 to 30 minutes on 200 combined with microwave. Using just the oven would take twice as long to get it soft properly. Also great for squashes, only other way to get them soft quickly is by cubing and braising.
