School blazers

In secondary school children have to wear their blazers most of the time. They must wear it in the playground and whilst traveling round the school. They can take it of in the class but (only ) with permission. Lots of teachers do say no. I don't understand why the children have to wear it. It just seems very controlling . And you would not see a teacher in the hot weather with a blazer on. Its uncomfortable for them they get over hot then probably end up a bit smelly . Surely children would work being more comfortable.

I agree. It is a ridiculous rule. It was the case when DD was at school as well.

I agree it’s ridiculous to have to wear it in the classroom. I couldn’t work with one on.
