Ford S Max vs BMW X3

Not new. 5+ years old. What would you choose and why?

I have a 17 year old X3, mainly just to cart the dogs about. I love it, reasons why,
Quality, still solid and quiet, great build quality
Reliable - had the car 5 years never broken down. Had to fix a couple of things but cost no more than £300 in 5 years
Lots of room
Parts not expensive
I have the 2.5 petrol auto, heavy on fuel but fast and sounds great
4 wheel drive, so much better in the wet, turn corners like its on rails
Personally I dont like Fords, you couldn't give me one for free

I went to look at an s-max today. It's such a mum car. Not sure I can do it to myself 😂
