Does a washer/dryer exist that doesn't leave clothes in a crumpled mess and smelling like a laundrette?

Obviously I know separate dryers are the best by a long shot, but we are really going to need the extra space in the kitchen. Just wondering if there is a washer/dryer out there that doesn't leave clothes mega crumpled/smelling like burnt fabric that anyone could recommend?

Not in my experience no!

The ones we’ve had have only been good for defying towels and underwear

I've had two (hand me downs, but gratefully received at the time) and hated both of them. Clothes were often creased beyond ironing and either had to go in again or be hung up somewhere to air dry.

Tried everything, doing smaller loads, less drying time but it never happened for me.

Now have separate dryer and it's fab.

Also, I'm loving the "defying" underwear!!
