Ooh me too! I thought Bartholemew was a made up name too when i was young, it sounded so funny to me. I was also amazed when I realised Donald was an actual person's name not just that of a cartoon duck!

Yes. Elmo too I think. I think those names are a bit more widely used in the USA, that's why over here we only think of them as muppets.

So in my muppet brain Kermit's dad is a Teddy. Amuses me far more than it should!

However I have reasonable confidence that Fozzie was not a name prior to the muppets.
