2nd Pfizer Vaccine after positive Covid test

Hi,

DS 2nd vaccine was due on Sunday 22 August, which had to be cancelled as he got a positive test result on Monday 16 August (Symptomps started on Saturday 14 August)

Would it be ok for him to have the 2nd dose of the vaccine this Thursday 9 August just before heading off to University or should he definitively wait until Monday 13 and possibly risk not feeling well enough for Welcome week?

He needs to wait. Hell be turned away from the appointment if he goes less than 28 days after his symptoms started.

Plenty of people don’t have bad side effects after jab 2. Hopefully he’ll be lucky.
