IT people - why has nobody invented this app yet

Say I don’t want to ever see or hear the words “love island” or “amanda Holden” ever again.

Why isn’t there an app I just put key words in and then it blocks them across all platforms. So no Twitter posts, no Facebook articles, any threads on here about them, any side bar of shame on the DM.

Why is this not a thing

Genius. I hate Love Island too

None of the apples or googles of this world would market this as people would just block ads stopping their income.
I'm sure it is around somewhere though.

You can mute words on twitter which will help there.

There are browser plugins that will do that sort of thing on desktop but on your phone it would chew through battery and at least on iPhone it would violate rules about interfering with the operation on another app. Most importantly, how would you make money with such an app?

But you're really looking at a combination of apps or add ons to cover everything you mention.

You can get an adblocker for the adverts. I don't know who all of the people you mention are, but you can hide YouTube channels coming up in your recommendations and say you're not interested in categories and block Instagram and Facebook profiles so you don't see them.

I did have a browser extension that replaced photos of Nigel Farage and Donald Trump with kittens if that helps?

I'd like an app that could just block cleaning as an activity/chore. In my whole life, not just on my phone. Tia.
