Hi all, this is a bit of a strange one I guess. I've joined an anti-vax Facebook group (covertly, because I'm secretly a little ninja 🙅), and the posts are quite frankly horrifying. It's all about how to cheat the system, get fake vax documents, name and shame and create a fuss in any establishment which uses masking/distancing...and that is just the start. These people are batshit crazy and they'll disown their own children for getting vaccinated, and even try sticking magnets on them. I would usually ignore this sort of crap, but it is directly affecting a young person close to me whose parent is heavily involved. Said young person told me about this group because of their concerns and resulting alienation from the parent. I have reported the group to Facebook but it has 20,000 members so I very much doubt they will do anything. Are Facebook still removing anti vax groups, or was that just more platitudinous bollocks? I've taken a lot of screenshots, but who do I send them to? Fb's reporting process doesn't allow you to add any evidence.
