I had an embarrassing wine cry tonight

Oh cringe.

I haven't had an embarrassing drunken wine cry in about 5 years.

Does anyone else occasionally do this? It was following a difficult family occasion. Not in public, only with DH. He was excellent and fed me water and Diet Coke and ordered me a pizza when we got home.

But omg I do not enjoy a wine cry. Daytime red wine Does anyone else occasionally have this?

Oh I'm pretty sure we've all done this

Cried my bloody eyes out this evening after three glasses of chardonnay.

Tbf my baby starts school tomorrow, so that must be it.

Oh yay I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this.

Yeah. Actually it's pretty much the only time I ever cry. The fact that I'm always so unbelievably embarrassed for days after just reaffirms that I have some big issues around crying in front of people.

But yeah, anyway, ugly wine crying - definitely a thing with lots of people I know, you are not alone Hope you're ok though!?

Did it in a restaurant with exH before.

Alcohol on an empty stomach will usually do it.

Once in 5 years?.... your fine op!
