So last night I accidentally reversed into a parked car. It was very slow and we were parked at the side of a road so it was my back bumper into their front bumper. I checked the cars and there was no damage to mine and maybe a slight bit of damage to theirs but obviously I dont know if that was there before. I left a note with my contact details on and I haven't heard anything from them. I'm thinking maybe as its a Sunday they may not notice until they go to work on Monday morning. But if I dont hear from them do I have to do anything more or did my responsibility end with the note? I did a live chat with the police when I got home to check I didnt have to tell them and they said as long as I left my details they didn't need to be informed.
