Mine kept me up till 5 am with a party, two of them that live there have confirmed covid to add to it so they spread that around.
I left at 7am for a 16 hour shift and left Abbas new album on repeat on full blast

Hope they enjoy it, it’s a masterpiece

Are you a time traveller? Abba's new album isn't out yet?

I've noisy neighbours 7 days a week. Ndn is
out sunbathing, there's no fuckin sun, she's playing Boyzone, she loves Boyzone, it doesn't beat the podcast she was listening to yesterday, I think it was a podcast, it was someone talking about how wonderful single parents are, how strong they are, to tell yourself how strong, patient and amazing you are, her kids who think they're American are screaming at the top if their voices, the youngest is crying as usual, she could actually win an award for crying.

The other side are cutting their grass again, he did it yesterday, I think he's trying to find the soil underneath. Although yesterday he drilled and hammered for so long I thought he was tunneling his way to Australia.

Our neighbours from both side are noisy atm which is usual for weekend. One of them is playing music, although not too loud. The other is doing something noisy in the garden.

My DH was making noise early! He normally wakes at 4-5am anyways, but couldn't understand when I realised at 7am that he was knocking bricks together and doing DIY. We are renovating, but this early on any day, let alone a weekend is unacceptable.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love this!

I live in a block of just 4 flats.

We are all fairly quiet anyway in general except my neighbours dd does play drums (she's very considerate).

It's a fairly new estate (15 yrs old) so fairly open plan with a large park I live opposite.

I'm quite surprised that isn't noisy today as summer seems to have come back now the summer hols have ended! But that's not a horrid noise. I've loved hearing the kids out there having fun again the past few months apart from the ones who scream unnecessarily

I hate that people think this form of theft is OK. Pardon the derail OP.

Yes ndn are bloody noisy, seems to be every weekend. Adult talking loudly, kids in the pool and don't get me started with the music.

BeaucoupFish · 05/09/2021 16:52

Mine are noisy every day and night I’m looking forward to winter but will still be able to hear their unfeasibly loud / screeching / shouting through the walls
They’re just feckless

delilahbucket · 05/09/2021 16:52

No they've gone out and it's absolute bliss. Shame really as dh has been fitting flooring and making a right racket and I would have liked to subject them to it seen as we listened to them renovating and building twelve hours a day, seven days a week for four months while all their contractors traipsed their crap across our driveway and garden which they should not have been on/in.

Timetable99 · 05/09/2021 16:53

Sunday is the one day in the week when there's no hammering/scraping/drilling/sawing noise coming from the two properties being renovated on either side of us! This has been going on all summer. Even on Saturdays there's usually one lone builder scraping away, it's really odd.

For once there's no ridiculously loud motorbike noise/kids visiting their grandparents next door but one/terrible music from the street behind but I can empathise OP; its so rare to actually have a quiet peaceful time in our garden.

There is a season for shoting pheasants and grouse. I wish there was one for shooting neighbours like in "The Purge".

Haha! With a tranquilliser dart maybe - non permanent but guaranteed a few hours of silence
