buying single leg tights? 1990s I think.
For younger listeners:- A pack of legs, each each had a waistband. If you damaged one then you only replaced one.
Very convenient if you didn't want the warmth of tights all the time.

Thanks @Shirleyphallus, I used to wear these but stopped because of not quite good enough colours. They were useful with short skirts. I can't wear tights, soreness.

Sorry I abandoned the thread. I went shopping for 3 items expecting to be back in an hour.
