Covid test results - how long did yours take?

Posted a Covid test back on Thursday afternoon (4pm) and I'm still waiting for the results. I tried 119 yesterday and all they could tell me is that they're still being processed. I'd really like them back so I can stop worrying!

Anyone? I'm still waiting. (currently trying to get through to 119)

Mine came back within 24 hours. Test mid morning, results early the next morning

Still nothing. I'm getting anxious now. 😕

Took about 36 hours for me

3.5 days from when the post will have been collected. That was earlier this week. When I’ve done tests at a centre in the past they’ve always come back within 24 hours. I won’t make that mistake next time!

3.5 days is a long time! I need mine back ASAP because I'm meant to be at work at 7am in the morning!

I guess some areas will be quicker than others. So I’d warn work if I were you then just keep your fingers crossed!

Also keep checking your email. They usually come a bit sooner than the text for some reason.

My sister hadn't heard back from hers, after 3 days so she called them up. There was an error something to do with the qr code not being scanned properly so her results were there but hadn't pushed through to her phone/email. As soon as the guy twiddle whatever he had to twiddle the result came through. So mistakes can be made.

My son and his partner - 26 and 48 hours after posting together!

Just got the results - fucking positive. Not very happy 😭😭

On the plus - you are already on day 4 if you tested on Sunday. So assuming you feel ok you will be able to leave the house next weekend

Yes I do too - so can empathise. Are you double vaxxed?

Just remember:

• no amount of worrying will change the outcome.

• most people with delta have symptoms typical of normal viral infections that vary from feeling like you have a cold to a flu.

Drink lots of fluids to about becoming dehydrated and get lots of rest.

Only one jab - second was tomorrow! Still not feeling too bad. Just very tired with a very stuffy head which is driving me slightly mad.
