What to read!

I generally like epic multi-book sagas. Usually fantasy, SF or historical.

I've read

The Dune Series
The Foundation Series
Robin Hobb
A Song of Ice and Fire
Earth's Children

What do you recommend I can get my teeth into next? Help me, I'm nearly finished the current one...

I loved the "wideacre" trilogy by philippa Gregory a LOT and I'm on the second book of Ken Follett's "the pillars of the Earth" series, I'm really enjoying it .

For sci fi try red rising. The first trilogy is out and two books of the second. It’s one of the best sci fi aeries I have ever read.

If you want to venture into slightly young adult stuff, the tapestry series (henry neff) is good too. The first book is a bit boring, but picks up from the second one and is very creative. Not epic fantasy as such though

Have you read all of the robin hobb books?

I'm reading the Malazan book of the fallen series, by Steven Erikson, at the moment, really good

I’m reading Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series - I think there’s 14 books (I’m ok number 7 and love them).

I’ve also enjoyed Brandon Sanderson
