Shared ownership houses

Hiya
We are currently a family of 6 in a two bed house. It’s social housing. We obviously need a bigger place now and are seriously considering the part ownership schemes. What I’m looking for is for anyone that has done this and how it’s worked out for you?
It’s a big step for us but we can’t stay in our little hobbit hole any longer and a smaller family could love it like we used to.

Cant advise on shared ownership, but have you considered a mutual exchange. There may not be anyone with a suitable property to swap but could be worth a go.
