Market Drayton?

We may possibly be moving to Market Drayton but have no clue as to what the area is like. Can anyone give me some info please? Yay or nay? We have primary aged DC also.

I have family in the area. It's lovely. And a lot cheaper on that side of the Cheshire/Shropshire border.

It's can be a bit "everyone knows your business" from what I gather. But if we could guarantee jobs we would probably move somewhere similar.

The surrounding countryside is beautiful but it’s a very small market town is with very little going on. It totally depends on your expectations, a lot of people would consider it a bit of a backwater. Shrewsbury has a lot more going on.

Im there at the moment housesitting for friends and i love it. Very rural where they are but only five minutes into town, lots of walks and pubs plus you’re only an hour away from Brum, id move here in a heartbeat
