One of our neighbours who has a clear issue with a lot of my actions. The fact I drove my little one to preschool rather than walked like her, the fact I have hired a nanny and then questions her on what she does when she sees her at the local park. But today she asked my nanny when she saw her on a walk what big school my eldest is going to now. The nanny told her and my neighbours response was “that’s not a very good school”. Considering this school has an outstanding OFSTED report for the last 8 years and one of the best schools in the area I wanted to give the best start I could see fit for my eldest. The school in my village doesn’t have such a good reputation. She made this comment in front of my son as well. I’m fuming! Do I kindly ask my neighbour if she has any questions around my childcare and my education choices then come and ask me and not my nanny and to keep her opinion to herself and not express it in front of my child or do I let this woman go over my head! Clearly her own insecurity or whatever?!?
