Period pants with extra long 'pad' section

I use disposable pads and want to switch to period pants. I think I must have a very long bottom Blush as I need to use 2 disposables attached together to make an extra long pad in order to avoid leaks front and back - both day and night. Period pants are ££ so I want to avoid buying ones that don't have an absorbent section that extends far enough up the back / front. Looking online, the absorbent bit looks too short on all the ones I've seen. Anyone out there with a similar long bottom found period pants that work?

Yes! Exactly the same here. Here for the ideas.

Hi

I love my modibodi ones, like you I would use two pads and still somehow leak at night but haven't had that issue since using these.

They have a range of overnight ones which go all the way up the back and pretty high on the front

Cheeky wipes do some that have the leakproof/absorbent bit go right up to the waist band, both front and back. I think it’s the ‘sporty’ style. They are low rise, but I haven’t had any problems with leaks with those (I do use a washable pad as well on my heaviest days)

I'm not in the UK, but if you get the Confidence brand, the 4 layer section goes up as far as the waist band at the back.

When my dd irst wore them she said she felt like she was wearing a nappy, but once she got used to them, they have been great.

I also can't see how those that don't go up very high at the back will work very well for night time use

ImFree2doasiwant · 02/09/2021 19:20

I have modibodi, the absorbant part at the back goes right up to the waistband.

YouJustDoYou · 02/09/2021 19:21

I bought a set of 10 long heavy flow period reusable liners for about £12 fro. Aliexpress- they've honestly.changed my life. I used to get such a sore vagina from.using normal.pads (can't use tampons or anything inserted), but these reusable liners are honestly.just a godsend. I'm heavy flow, they've been utterly perfect from day one. I'll never go back.

CardiganBlobby · 02/09/2021 19:22

Wuka do as well

SirVixofVixHall · 02/09/2021 19:23

The heavy overnight ones do have a wide section right up the back, at least they do on Modibodi, and on other brands I have seen.

hedgehogger1 · 02/09/2021 19:26

The reusable pads from honouryourflow are long. You can chat to them to get the right sort. The night time ones are massive. I can sleep in safety now!

Staywithmemyblood · 02/09/2021 19:27

Modibodi maxi-24hrs have a full length absorbent panel. Well worth the £££

custardcat85 · 02/09/2021 19:27

Cheeky Wipes have a few styles with the absorbing panel that goes all the way up the front and back. They are called "Fearless" and "Sassy". I highly recommend them and have a 15% off code if you decide to try them Smile

@YouJustDoYou

They sound really good. Do you have a link please? There seemed to be loads of different types on the website.

Crayfishforyou · 02/09/2021 20:00

My primark ones do I’m sure.
I think my modibodi ones do too

campingfever · 02/09/2021 20:02

Thanks, this is all so helpful!

I got some great ones from cheeky wipes that have padding, all the way to the waistband, front and back. And some others that are like shapewear but not too tight, I find them really comfy and secure for night time or when I am teaching all day and can't easily get to the loo.

NannyR · 02/09/2021 20:22

I've got the high waist ones from cheeky pants (I think they are called feeling comfy) and they have absorbent right up to the waistband, front and back.

NatashaRf · 02/09/2021 20:24

I have and LOVE Cheeky period pants. So comfy and full front to back coverage.

Oblomov21 · 02/09/2021 21:16

Interesting. I too need long ones.
