I start a new job soon and they have been very vague about the working arrangements. They have a few offices located around the country and in my interview I asked whether I could be based at one particular office (so I didn't have to relocate) and they said yes, they are flexible to the point where you can work at different offices. They also said I definitely wouldn't be at the office everyday.
I'm due to start soon and I'm having a laptop delivered to my home address. I also have had to do all of my pre-employment checks (showing my passport, etc) virtually as HR are working from home.
It is a job you can definitely do from home, even pre-COVID they had established working from home in the industry, although everyone was primarily office-based still.
I will obviously seek clarification and I'm not bothered either way. But does the laptop being delivered to my home suggest I'll be working from home?
