I'm currently re-reading Jodi Taylor's "Chronicles of St Marys" for the 3rd time (I'm up to book 9). It's an outstanding series!

I also love "The Gloldfinch" by Donna Tartt (the film did NOT do the book justice!)

Goldfinch!

Currently reading Piranesi by Susannah Clarke, and Winter in Sokcho by Elisa Shua Dusapin

Also dipping into The Right to Sex by Amia Srinivasan; I often do non-fiction bit by bit to break it up.

Favourite book? Always a hard question 'favourite' doesn't mean you objectively think something's good does it, just that something about it does something for you. Mine is probably Pride and Prejudice.

Books I've most enjoyed this year though:
Manningtree Witches
The Mercies
Bonjour Tristesse
Vanishing Half
Net for Small fishes
Travelling Cat Chronicles.

Finished Snuggie Bain a couple of days ago- compelling reading, have found myself thinking about it quite a lot.

Started Troubled Blood (latest Cormoran Strike book) last night, enjoying so far and at 900 pages hope I keep enjoying it!

Too many great books to nail down a favourite but a few that immediately come to mind are
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese
A Song for Achilles by Madeline Miller
The Cazalet Chronicles by Elizabeth Jane Howard
10 minutes 38 seconds in this Strange World by Elif Shafa

I've just finished Birdsong (Sebastian Faulks) which I thought was excellent.

Now reading a novel called Saltwater by Jessica Andrews but I am on the verge of hating it so will probably give up.

My favourite book is I Capture the Castle.

I’m currently reading Lady Anne Glenconner’s autobiography, Lady In Waiting. It’s so interesting.
What a life this woman has had.
My favourite book is probably RF Delderfield, To Serve Them All My Days.
Or The Shell Seekers, by Rosamunde Pilcher. I cant decide.

I'm rereading Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series - am on 'Proven Guilty'.

Favourite book of all time is Pavane by Keith Roberts - I have a thing for alternate reality fiction.
