So in the past few months an adopted cat (I checked if it belonged to anyone and no one claimed it, I think it did have an owner but they didn't reply when I knocked on their door and they also have a fairly new dog) moved in. lovely cat. likes catching wood mice in the garden and have noticed feathers near back door recently - but not seen her catch any birds.
So just now in spare room where I work downstairs I hear and see something small and dark run very fast to where I'm storing mirrors/paintings that I am yet to put up.
Rang my mum who said lock cat in with it overnight and let nature take it's course. or put a trap down and other way.
what do I do? praying it isn't a rat but it could be.
Bloody cat....
