Ocado smart pass

Just had a call, it’s rising from nearly £7 to £9. Meanwhile their service levels are through the floor and I’ve had loads of substitutions, even on things checked our just before the order cut off time. They will no longer add Fetch orders to my shopping as they now come out of different hubs.

In the past I have always negotiated a discount for high frequency of orders, nothing giving this time.

So I have swapped from Anytime to midweek, going to £4. I think I will stay over this winter and then cancel.

Anyone had more success than me? I’m really disappointed with their lack of responses.

I gave up with Ocado simply because they didn’t want to know during lockdown after I’d been paying for years.
I have Waitrose now, brilliant service.

I'm not enamoured with Ocado - various service issues (nothing major, just a series of niggles - I don't feel like a valued customer any more)

And am now ordering from Waitrose as well - some of their infrastructure I like less, but I'm getting o their quirks. And I prefer their food to M&S by quite a margin.

And I think having two regulars will increase chances of getting a slot if/when we get a 'bumpy' time thus A/W

I'm really struggling to get very basic stuff from Tesco atm, think it's down to wider supply issues.

Distribution is all to cock - not just online supermarkets, all,sorts of things.

I was tickled by today's news item that says Wetherspoons is running out of beer!

I've been OK it's freshness of food from Waitrose, and have found their customer service better than Ocado. Also I'm currently in love with their Levantine Table range

Cancelled mine as wouldn’t offer me a discounted one and find them quite expensive .

I sacked off Ocado after they left me high and dry after years of spending a bloody fortune with them and they wouldn’t let me order during covid.

Switched to Waitrose and have never looked back.

Oh the irony! Decided to try Waitrose home delivery and within minutes a £15 voucher pinged in fromOcado - why didn’t they just offer me 6 more months at the lower rate?! They’re on a slippery slope now I’n trying Waitrose and remembering all the products that I haven’t been able to get for the last year, wafer thin ham being the first!!

I cancelled mine after years due to the Smartpass price increase, not being able to actually make a meal with the M&S stuff and their product quality was shocking. Use a combo of Waitrose and Gousto now.
