Does anyone not know the number of men they have had sex with?

Got thinking about this after reading another thread about a boyfriend asking.

I have no idea. Is that really bad? Lots is my ballpark guess.

I read this as “I’m old and my 70s were a blur” and was thinking that’s awesome!

My DH had a doctor ask him this question. He was really taken aback and replied “Do people actually know that??”

DH was number 15!

No idea. Less than 20, I’m pretty sure.

It’s been 20 years since I last had to add one to the count, so of course I can’t remember.

Definitely in the 100’s.

Undiagnosed bipolar cause some interesting years between 15 and 25!

I'm too old to bother keeping count.
Now I just keep a Hall of Fame and if you didn't make the top ten I'm not even using any headspace on your name.

Past issues with low self-esteem and alcoholism puts me at 100-150.

Absolutely no idea how many men and women I have slept with. I wouldn't even be able to hazard a guess.

Well as I’ve only ever been with my husband it’s very easy to remember my one and only 😆. I’m his only one too. Maybe it’s the influence of our Irish grannies!

This makes me sad. I don't think a high number is sexual partners equals attractiveness. Quite the opposite sometimes - I think some insecure people seek reassurance by having sex. Certainly a lot of people I know behaved like this when we were all younger.

You do realise that, in trying to boost one poster, you've implied an awful lot about a lot of others..?

Inhad one relationship of about 10 years that was virtually sexless. We had sex about 6 times in total! It ended about 10 years ago.

I've made up for that since but haven't had another relationship. I'm not interested in having one. It's nothing to do with insecurity or lack of attractiveness and I turn down far more men that I ever accept.

I know mine. It’s single figures. Only one boyfriend has ever asked me my number, and he wasn’t weird about it when I answered. Current (forever) partner hasn’t ever asked and I’ve never asked him

On a similar thread way back, I was one told on MN before that they had names for girls like me when they were at school. For the record, I was a very happy girl!

Life has been driven by passion, at times with hormones bubbling. But nobody told me l had to keep a visitors book.

Men: Well into double figures, no regrets. I couldn’t give an exact number.

Women: l didn’t get passed the curious stage until my early 30s; l’m early 40s now. That was quite a renaissance for me. I could probably work the figure out with a lot of effort but to what point?

Life has made me purr, l’ve had some lovely sex along the way 💥.And if people want to be judgemental, bring on the name calling! 🌷

No idea, I mean it's not loads but a few, not that I'm going to sit here and reminisce over specific exes All I can say is that I'm glad for my single years, they were majorly fun!

My number’s not high but I still don’t know exactly. One-night stands tend to blur together.

I actually like @TheQueef’s idea of a Hall of Fame as being a better way of keeping track

Haha this thread is brilliant! I have a rough idea of somewhere around the 50 mark but luckily me and my partner have never discussed this, he doesn't want to know! (He knows it's a lot but I'm not sure he's aware quite how many)

Same as a PP, I did used to know but having been married and monogamous for decades, I’ve forgotten now. I can’t say it’s that important to me.

Am now daydreaming about which ones make my Hall of fame top ten 😂

Lots! I lost count a long time ago. Though only one in the past 11 years. And when he asked the number early in relationship, I confidently said 11 . I think that could be multiplied a few times to get to the real number.
