Wax sealing kit I got for Christmas. It’s in a lilac silver box roughly book shaped. I distinctly remember putting it on my bookshelf but it’s not there, not obviously in my craft stuff (and I don’t at all think I’d put it there) or in my drawers of crap. Has it tuned up at your house?

Hmmm no I don’t think it’s here, although having said that i’m always surprised about what turns up in the boot of my car when I tidy it! Will have a look for you tomorrow, in the mean while, have you checked in the cupboard under the stairs or in ‘that’ drawer in the kitchen?

I’m certain that Sibyl would have a family heirloom sealing wax kit, nothing so crass as to buy new! Giving one to Vimes however…

I’ll give it a go anyway, although I think F Beedle only wrote world of poo and similar.

I thought perhaps one for the Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons… or of course she might have wanted one with the Vimes arms on as the original of that would have been lost; & while Sam might hate all the trappings of being His Grace The Duke of Ankh, Sybil loves him having a rank she feels he deserves so if she asked him for a seal with his arms on he’d see she had it. Let’s face it, he loves her so much if she asked for his actual literal arms he’d probably struggle not to instantly lop them off & hand them over.

Well I’m embarrassed to say it turned up, having changed colour to a dark book colour brown. It was exactly where I thought it was.

Thinking about it may have been wrapped in lilac silver paper…

Am glad it’s turned up, anyway: enjoy the vvv satisfying feeling of of sealing your letters before sending. And the particular peculiar smell of sealing wax. Sigh.
