Refill deodorants

I’m thinking about swapping my deodorant to one of these refillable ones that I see advertised.

Does anyone have any experience of them, recommendations, cautionary tales, referral codes?

I switched to using Wild a few months ago, really love it for every day use. Have to say, not sure if I'm just very sweaty or if it's the deodorant but it wasn't fully cutting it during the week we had the heatwave...! But other than that there has been no different between that and previous deodorants I've used.

I also switched to Wild about 8 months ago and love it. I was already using "natural" deodorant for about a year before that (Toms of Maine, etc) so I didn't have the adjustment period that some people say is needed when you switch. It definitely works better on shaved or short stubble pits. I like the scents as well.

I switched because anti-perspirant was giving me horrible lumps of the white stuff under my skin. Interestingly, I noticed no difference in sweat levels when I switched away from anti-perspirant to deodorant but I'm not a sweaty person generally (not in this icebox of a country, anyway!)

Thanks for the info there. I’ll have a look at Wild.

Recently switched to Wild and Dd 14 both disliked it’s due to yellow marks on all clothing. Works ok but obviously not as good as an anti perspirant, could have lived with that but not the marked clothing - and yes we did use it exactly as guidelines so not too much product.

On the other hand their soaps are fabulous! Smile

Interesting. It seems they are all deodorant rather than antiperspirants.

I use Salt of the Earth, possibly not what you are looking for, as it's a spray, but I really like it (Holland and Barrett) also comes in larger size bottle so you just refill from that. I'm trying to reduce the plastic and environmental impact of our household stuff.
