When's tour dcs back to school.

And what area you in.
Trying to work out if our local theme park south be busy this Thursday. I know 2 schools going back Thurs but all the rest are 6th and 7th.
We have season passes and have avoided the summer holiday so far as too bush but the little ones are desperate to go!

Reading between the typos mine go back on the 7th and 8th but we are North East so might not be relevant.

Somerset. Many schools go back on Thursday, but some are having a couple of INSET days. Indies start returning the following week.

Leicestershire here - our school went back last wednesday the 25th August. We have slightly different term dates.

Shropshire is officially Thurs 2nd, although many schools are using the 1st few days as either PD days or staggered starts so Monday 6th before most pupils are back in school.

Primaries are less able to shift their start dates and many won't take 2 or 3 inset in such a large chunk.

Secondaries have to LFT for covid and are making up their own rules. And many more are academies doing what they want.
Mine Y10 and Y7 are back 7th and 8th

But primaries back on 1st and 2nd.
