Hot flashes 4 months postpartum - is this because I’m breastfeeding?

I’m 4 months postpartum and getting hot flashes every day throughout the day - no actual temperature, just hot flashes. I’ve got oversupply still so I’m basically one big hot milky mess 😫

I’m going to the GP tomorrow for something unrelated but I’m going to mention it - I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

Definitely worth mentioning to the GP. I was like a boiler house when breastfeeding....

Yeah I had this. It calmed down when my periods came back.

Thanks everyone - hoping it’s just run of the mill hormone stuff

It's probably hormones. I was sweating buckets for about a month after having DC.

But just be careful it's not mastitis and you've got a temperature.

Might be worth getting your thyroid levels checked OP.
