Getting a Sooner Paeds app?

My daughter is under a paediatrician for a potential disorder and is seen in clinic every six months. She had her last appointment 3 months ago and in that time she has developed symptoms of the condition. I would like her to been seen before her appointment in 3 months time (as treatment is time sensitive). I should add, she would not be in physical danger if we had to wait but this condition is very difficult to live with and would have a significant impact on her mental health if not treated promptly.

I have called the clinic and they just said that they don't have anything sooner. I have requested to be put on a cancellation list etc, but I was just wondering whether there was anything I could do to try and get a faster appointment?

Can you call her consultants secretary and ask the consultant to call you

Yes if she's got a named consultant id get in touch with them

Call the consultants secretary directly (it should be on the top of any clinic letters) and/or get your gp on board.
