Not quite the Bank Holiday Sunday I’d hoped for but ended up fairly chilled. I had to work which is unusual but now not in until Wed. I sat in the garden with wine, mags, phone & bunnies. DH watched The Mandalorian (sp) earlier & is now searching for something else on Disney Plus. We were going to have steak for tea but I’m cooking that tomorrow instead & doing pizzas tonight.

Just found a dog! Put it on local Facebook.page and went hunting houses in the vicinity. Luckily a friend of the owner saw the Facebook post and have just reunited them.

We're away at MILs on the coast. Had a beach day today, just had a picky dinner and now enjoying a glass of wine in the garden.

DH is bathing preschooler DD and has just come back into the living room to source her Washimals Elsa, Elpa and Elka who are needed in the tub.

The house is in chaos because we’ve just gotten back from a holiday, so there are bags everywhere and the only food is whatever we bought from a roadside farm stall in Kent, supplemented by some French beans a neighbour dropped round from his allotment.

I’m incredibly pregnant and not moving from the sofa.

No bank holiday here (Fife) so at some point need to get organised for school and work tomorrow.

Kids have had a friend round today to hang out and they have been in the garden and blackberry picking. I made some jam which we all sampled on toast for tea, then we all went to the beach for a swim and just got back. Kids through the shower and in pyjamas eating leftovers dinner with DH and I am about to get in the bath.

Lazy day. Laundry, reading my book, a few low alcohol beers in the afternoon. Dh serviced my Dads car this morning. Ds has been away to the beach with his Gran this afternoon. He's now back, showered and playing in his xbox. We are now watching a film

DH and I have been out for brunch for his birthday tomorrow. Now having drinks and crisps around the fire pit. DDs and DDog are PILs 🎉

I have to collect DS from work at 8.30, so no wine here. DH is dozing on the sofa after breaking his arm yesterday. Not quite the weekend we had planned

Not a BH here so kids are bathed ready for bed, youngest asleep, eldest watching netflix and it will soon be his reading time.

DH is painting warcraft models and I'm floating on Mumsnet while watching Golden Girls on Disney plus.

All 3 kids asleep. Husband at work. Thinking to get up from bed and read my book.

Older two and DP are watching a film.

I've just put toddler to bed and am having a glass of wine.

No plans for tomorrow but all the major chores done today so we can play it by ear. Currently thinking about a walk along the South Bank and lunch somewhere nice.

The dcs are with their father and me & DP are on a cheeky weekend away in the Balearics that we only booked on Tuesday

I'm hoping nothing is happening at home.

We're away in our caravan, the kids are only just eating dinner as they been outside playing all day with new friends they've made.
We're going to play Dobble for a bit then off to bed, they both slept 12 hours straight last night after all the fresh air and playing so I'm hoping for the same tonight.

My kids are watching some video about Lego Harry Potter. My husband is on his phone. I'm feeling sorry for myself because I fell off my bike three times today and hurt my knees, ankle, elbow and wrist. My fingers hurt 😔😔

I’ve been reading on the beach all day making the most of having my first bank holiday off in ages. Dh and ds have been watching sport.
Ds is now tidying his room, Dh is washing up and I’m relaxing after cooking (I’m really stuffed!).

We've been out at the local County Show then came home and had an American style oven feast for dinner. DH, DD1 and DSS are playing computer together, DD2 has just wrapped herself up in my shawl and put herself to sleep on the sofa next to me while I chill out watching Hart of Dixie. It's a bit annoying as I'd like another G&T!

DS1 on laptop, DD and DS2 in bed, I'm just scrolling MN waiting for DS1 to decide he's tired as I'm exhausted and want my bed

I got up and read my book, Rodham which I'm very engrossed by and then went on a 12 mile walk with a friend. Came home, had a bath and a sandwich, read some more and now am watching Vigil with some lemon drizzle cake.

We're going to Zoom shortly with DD, DS and my MIL. The kids are away at uni.

Our stationary bike broke on Friday and looks to be unfixable, so we've ordered a new one. They were in very short supply previous, but we've been told it should ship within a week.

DH is making grilled chicken for dinner.

Woke up fairly hungover. Big dog walk followed by brunch and coffee at a cafe locally. Went into town to sample food festival stalls. Back and watched football match/snoozed on sofa. Then walked Round to a friends to drink a bottle of wine by the FirePit they have just had installed. Home now, bed with Netflix and sleep by half ten

No bank holiday here, in bed scrolling on mumsnet. Could really fall asleep but it just feels too early.

Had a productive day, was up sharp at 9am and spent the day in town with DC, did some grocery shopping in the evening and hope to do some batch cooking tomorrow as I was too shattered to start tonight.

Nearly seven in the morning, so off to walk the dog. Then an online staff meeting at 8.30. staff meeting followed by a day's online teaching.

No after school meetings today, which is good.

Day in the park and then to a cafe with DD. She had bedtime, I did some reading for a piece of research I'm doing, now in bed scrolling through Twitter reading about Hurricane Ida. Rock and roll!

Just sat down for a late dinner with my OH. I'd finished getting ready some bits and bobs for tomorrow. My DM is looking after our 15w old son so me and OH can have a day out with our other two children (4yrs and 2yrs) and they can have our full time and attention as normally I have the youngest attached to me. Really looking forward to it (we've booked swimming, soft play, a meal and likely a park too).
