My DH’s beloved Grandad is 84 and very unwell- he’s currently receiving palliative care and we don’t expect him to last much longer.
My DS is the first (so far only) grandchild/great grandchild and thanks to covid GFIL has only met him a couple of times. The most recent occasion was early July when MIL took DS with her to visit GFIL in his care home- we didn’t know it then but that was going to be the last time GFIL saw DS.
While they were there MIL took this lovely picture of them both. The only thing is that GFIL still has his walking frame in front of him- she’s said so many times how she wishes she’d moved it out of the way, and that it spoils the picture for her.
I’ve made several attempts at tweaking the picture myself with the very basic software I have on my laptop and I’ve also had a go at drawing it, but I have all the artistic skill of a drunk elephant, and so far haven’t really been able to produce anything decent.
Is there anyone out there who could have a go at magic-ing away the walking frame somehow? I’d love to be able to give MIL and DH a nice framed copy that they can keep.
I don’t have a lot of money to throw at the problem but happy to pay if anyone could recommend a reasonably priced professional.
Thanks.
