DS1 was adamant he wanted to do an apprenticeship rather than go to uni. Despite a decently written covering letter and CV he still hasn't managed to find one. He's now considering applying for a HND in computer science at our local uni. Said uni hasn't got an amazing reputation tbh but courses at others in the nearest big city tend to be foundation degrees rather than stand alone courses. There is the option to top the HND up and get a degree which is reassuring to know and the HND also involves a couple of weeks work experience after the first year. Just wondered if anyone had any recent experience of them ?
