Substance use worker here: doesn’t look like any illicit drug (though with all the new psychoactive substances out there the only way to be sure is with lab testing at WEDINOS). It’s also certainly NOT cannabis oil while I guess it could be CBD oil that is normally liquid and most typically in properly sealed capsules like vitamin e.
Most illicit drugs don’t come in capsule form as dealers aren’t wasting time with that.

It looks like a charcoal capsule - but from my experience of using them to try and stop myself farting they’re full of powder not solid. Has he got IBS he’s embarrassed about?

Licorice? If crunchy it's probably MDMA, if squishy it's weed. It'll taste bitter like paracetamol if MDMA. Get an EZ Test kit, or send a sample of it to www.wedinos.org/ for a full report that you can spank him with. Or just neck it and get a massage from DH, it's probably the best couples' therapy drug.

In the good old days sometimes you got pills that type with ecstacy in. Sometimes. That's powder though and most people took in one go then. And even then it was rare.

Putting drugs into those things is well fiddly. Try it. Getting powder in and the lid on is really tricky.

This stuff is hard and so you'd have to somehow shape it before putting it in. Very very fiddly. And it's exactly the right size. Factory machine type job.

If hash what's wrong with a bit of cling film. Cheap quick easy.
