Help! Need a locksmith in Surbiton.

My DD moved into her very first new rental flat yesterday. She’s gone out, locking the door with the Chubb lock as instructed by me (“or your insurance won’t be valid” etc) and now on return she can’t turn the lock.

She has left a message for the landlady but I’m wondering if anyone can recommend an emergency locksmith in the area if it gets to that point!
I can’t help as I’m over 200 miles away and feeling bloody useless.

Mine would turn after about 15 minutes of trying, plenty of sweating, mild panicking and plenty of angry key turning.

I'm sure she has. Doesn't everyone carry that around in their handbag?

She's in Surbiton, not the middle of nowhere. There are several shops on the high street that stock wd40 so it was quite a sensible suggestion

I hope she's got it sorted by now, but if not, has she tried pulling the door towards her when trying to turn the key?

Tell her to google the locksmiths association, otherwise she runs the risk of getting ripped off.
