Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I've got washing to do & my kitchen looks like a pigsty so we'll be tidying up in here. The jungles gardens need the mower shoved over them & tidying up as well. I might see if the girls' dad will do that.

Dd2's going to try on all her secondary uniform & I'm going to sew a bit of coloured thread in the back of her tights so they don't get confused with dd1's in the wash.

Hopefully I'll get chance to finish my planning for our first term back at Guides. It's mostly done, just needs putting into a proper order & a couple of nights filling.

Pork loin steaks with garlic & parmesan roasted potatoes for tea, with salady bits. We need to buy spuds first though. I'll have a couple of glasses of wine with it.

All in all, a very normal day! What about all of you? Anyone up to much? :)

Nice day! I'm currently supervising painting with my almost 2 year old, she's exploring how the paint looks on her arm 😂
There's a mound of laundry that really should be folded and I need to plan the meals for the next week and do the shopping!

Morning!

Was up at 6am, went for a run. Dd left to go to work at 7. I've cleaned out the litter trays, cleaned the bathroom, kitchen and living room. Bedrooms still to be done. Have also done two loads of washing.

Sitting down with a cuppa and Mumsnet. Going to meet dd in her lunch break then head for some shopping I need. Got a nail appointment at 5pm too.

Very productive dancemom! I'm only just finishing my coffee & considering making a start on the day.

Lovely and sunny today 😊 I'm quite excited this morning. Currently 17 weeks pregnant and dd (9) has been really upset that she can't go to any scans (nhs say no children atm) so dp and I have booked a private scan. Keeping it as a surprise for her, so I'm really looking forward to her happiness getting to see her little brother/sister for the first time ❤️ and finding out whether it's a brother or sister! Happy Saturday 😊

I’m isolating awaiting a PCR test and feeling a bit crappy so binge watching friends in bed, maybe a bit of painting later if I feel up to it. Considering an Indian takeaway later on as a pick me up 😀

Just put DC 11months for a nap and now going to have a wash and get ready. We need to clean today but I'm going to leave it for the week as DH is home so no rush for us to get it done this weekend!

I'm sitting in the garden, enjoying the sunshine. DH has made us all breakfast. Dd is trying to plant some seeds she was got free in McDonald's maybe a burger tree will grow in my garden.🤣🙈🤣

Walked the dog, made brunch. On my second coffee.
Dd is giving herself a manicure and making a mess.
DS is going between basketball and messing about on his phone.

Super excited right now. The lettings agent finaly sent a plumber to fix the leaky bathroom tap. 2 years dripping into the kitchen. I emailed I thought the ceiling was going to fall down. Result.
I have vegetables roasting in the oven. Cheese ready to mix in and then bake again.
I also vacuumed.
I was going to go for a brisk walk but I think I will have a celebratory long bath and book read instead.

Going to garden, then supermarket and having friends round for supper later. Chicken basque is on the menu.

Usual Saturday jobs, but it’s a chill day today.
Had a big day out with the kids yesterday, and spent most of it sat on the motorway 😭

Chill day today. Me and two preschoolers are in the throes of a virus. I still have a fever. Dh is painting the living room so we are dossing upstairs and generally creating mess.

I've just had breakfast. Fasting seems to help with my gallbladder symptoms.

We won't do an awful lot today

Toddler has been in and out of hospital all week with an ear nose and throat virus but she's a bit better today, so we're watching Peter Rabbit before a nap. I'm knitting and the dog is asleep on my feet. I don't think we'll be doing much today, I'm tempted to get a takeaway this evening.

He’s now downstairs making me French toast and bacon.
Later we’re going for a walk in the park, tidy the house, and maybe do some art together.
Dinner out tonight at a new restaurant.

Been cleaning house this morning . Had a bad cold last couple of weeks so not been on top of house stuff .
Going to cinema this afternoon to see space jam with kids . Then we are having curry for dinner .

DH has taken the boys to the barbers for back to school haircuts and then to lunch out somewhere.

I'm cleaning the flat and starting to pack for our holiday on Tues.

DS1 helpfully doesn't go back till the 6th so all the touristy stuff should be quiet when we do it late next week.
