What is this cream?

My husband is Turkish and he doesn’t know.
None of my in laws know.

What is the cream that is in the cakes in the Turkish shop. We know it is powdered, lasts for days, probably bad for you, doesn’t need to go in the fridge and is fricking delicious. It’s like school dinners cream.

If anyone can tell me where to buy the powder to make this cream, I will bake you a Turkish cake!!!

(I have a feeling it’s milk powder, icing sugar and something else unknown?)

Or maybe look up old fashioned mock cream.

Have you tried asking the people in the shop?

Would dream topping be an easily available UK alternative if there's no Turkish shops nearby?

Although I did discover that you can make a substance that tastes like dream topping by whipping up double cream with vanilla essence and icing sugar.
