Anyone got AEG appliances in their kitchen ? We have had installed a brand new modern kitchen with all AEG appliances, and have no idea how they work, the instructions are useless, there is no customer support even their own engineer had little idea how they work when called to help, the induction hob has a mind of its own when you place a book on it or lean on it when it is suppose to be off, the integrated microwave combi oven is so bad we are getting a counter top microwave ,the integrated dishwaher has no way to over ride opening when it completes the cycle steaming up the kitchen, the main oven we have managed to get it to work at 180C and can't find a way to change the temp !
I wish we kept out 1970's kitchen with all stand alone appliances. Our new kitchen looks fantastic but its useless to cook in, we seem to getting a lot of takeaways since getting it.
AEG own website is full of reviews with the same problem.

Look at Which? and Good Housekeeping reviews and also the reviews on AO.com from people who have actually bought appliance.

For things like dishwasher and washing machine going in the actual kitchen find out the decibel levels when they are on and buy quieter models if this is an open plan kitchen you'll be in a lot. We bought a Neff dishwasher for this reason.
