How to tell if it's a fake

Can anyone tell me how to know if my Louis Vuitton handbag is real or fake? Thanks!

Check obvious things like quality of stitching, hardware (zips and clasps) and check the leather (fakes the trims tend to go orange, real tan - it's very obvious when you see them together).
If it's a recent one check the date stamp

Oh and obviously what you paid for it, if it was too good to be true - then it's probably not real.

If you google there are places where you can get a bag authenticated. I used a site like this for a mulberry( haven’t posted link because she just deals in mulberry)
I had to send certain photographs of details on the bag and pay a small fee.
If you look of Facebook there I’ll be pages selling second hand LV bags. If you join one you will learn lots of tips about how to spot fakes
