And, this time last year I thought I would be celebrating alone. We had just found out that DP had an aggressive cancer and the prognosis wasn't good, in November we were told that, with chemo, he had six months if he was lucky. Well, here he is. He's doing well, his tumours have shrunk and he feels well. We have no doubts that all that could change very quickly but, for now, we are celebrating. We are celebrating his birthday, my birthday and our wedding. We are packing up the fosterlings so they can go and stay with our back up carers (I feel very torn about that), taking the dog to kennels and then we'll be off for a grown up weekend.
