My fit to fly certificate doesn't have a QR could it that normal? It's Medicspot, do the others have QR codes how closely are they checked. I'm travelling alone with 3 dcs to see family and I am very stressed out about the new regulations. I'm going to Italy, anyone travelled recently that can but my mind a rest about all the covid rules?

I'm wondering if it's worth asking MNHQ to move this to travel. I suspect people aren't answering as they just don't know. Maybe report your post and ask to move it? Good luck.

Hello! I travelled to Maldives with Medicspot last year. All is fine. I’ve had loads of PCR for travel done, never had a QR code!

What country are you going to?
In England, they will check at check in and read it / nothing more. On the other side they sometimes check it but most havent for me. It’ll be fine!

We’ve just been to Spain and we had a QR on the Spanish travel form that we had to scan when we arrived in Spain. The proof of vaccine/negative test I uploaded to Ryanair app and they quickly checked it as we boarded.

Will you be able to quarantine with your relatives when you get there? That’s the main thing, as you’ll need to put the address on your passenger locator form.

‘ Travellers from the United Kingdom are required to:

  1. fill in the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy
  1. present on arrival a negative certificate for a rapid molecular or antigen test performed in the 48 hours prior to entering Italy
  1. undergo fiduciary isolation and health surveillance for 5 days. At the end of the isolation period, they will have to perform a new molecular or antigen test.’

According to DS, they don’t trust you to do the self-swabbing in Italy and will insist on doing it for you.

No self-swabbing here but there are pop up tents outside most pharmacies in most cities for testing.
The big thing at the moment is of course that you'll have to quarantine somewhere for 5 days.

You'll also need your NHS app thingy to show full vaccination cycle to eat inside, go into museums etc and from 1/9 to travel on trains/coaches/planes.
