Medication every 8 hours. What times

This is actually for my dog not me
She has been prescribed medication that has to be taken every 8 hours. This will be permanent
What times would you give it
I like my sleep!
If anyone knows the answer to this too I would be grateful
I have found the medication half the price online. Does the vet have to supply you with the prescription?

Yes, you can pay the vet for the script, and source the stuff yourself.

I'd do something like 7:30/8 (when I get up), 3/4pm, 11pm (or just before if going to bed earlier. Just like you would your own medications, give them when you get up and go to bed, and sometime in the middle. As long as you don't deviate much from the 8h rule, you should be fine.

Are you at home in the afternoons to give the meds or will someone else be letting themselves in whilst you're at work?

Does anyone know how much a vet is likely to charge for the prescription? It's a one off anyway so worth it as it only has to be added once
