Blackgang Chine - should we go…?

As above, my children love Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight but we haven’t been for 2 years.
We are thinking of going tomorrow.

Can anyone who has been recently please tell me how busy it has been and if everything is open? When we last went some of the rides were closed, and there aren’t many!

I need to prepare myself for the dodo 🦤 song to get stuck in my head don’t I?!

We went last week and week before, busier than usual but everything open x

We went last week of July. It was busier than previous times I have been,long queue for the rollercoaster and water slide, but not horrendous. Nothing was closed. They seemed pretty overwhelmed in terms of catering though, we had to wait an hour for burgers - I’d advise taking packed lunch.

Yep, go. We went a couple of weeks ago and they were doing foam parties and fireworks on Wednesdays, it was bloody brilliant! So go on a Wednesday if you can.

Just in case anyone else is looking for advice and finds this thread, we went on Friday and had a great day. It was quiet for August. I spoke to someone who was working there and they said Mon-Wed are usually the busiest days.
