Fussy/upset 5 month old

My 22 week old son has suffered terrible reflux/ colic. This calmed down since being put on Aptamil Pepti for suspected CMPA from 2 months old. The last 3 days he’s been really fussy, crying out of nowhere, with proper tears and sobs. He can be happy one minute and then burst into tears. Bedtime is also becoming a nightmare. He just wants to be held constantly. Anyone else going through this? Hoping it’s just a phase or possibly teething? X

Thanks, I’m hoping so. He’s always been a fussy baby but been happier recently up until the last few days. Not seen him like this since the depths of reflux when he was a few weeks old. He’s also had small runny/ very smelly BM’s so was worried it could have been something wrong with his stomach x
