We've just had dark grey block paving installed. I'd like to put a pair of plants by the front door to break up the harshness of the drive a bit. I need some suggestions please. The house is south facing and gets loads of sun. Some things I'd like:
*I'd rather it didn't seed in the cracks on the new drive (although I know I'm going to be battling weeds forever anyway).
*I'd like it to have some colour I think although this isn't essentially. I don't want it to attract bees and sting the postman!
*Its a post war end terrace so something that will suit that sort of house.
*Ideally not too much maintenance.
Please give me some suggestions because I'm not sure where to start. Thank you!
