Hi I'm a health professional interested in doing covid vaccinations ( bit late in the day I know, but I work full time) . Can i ask how people do it eg hours , pay , shifts etc

I am a bank immuniser, so can't really comment on hours - although I do either 6 or 12 hour shifts. I'm on band 4 (healthcare experience with additional training), if you're a qualified hcp (e.g. nurse) then band 5 minimum.

I’ve picked up a few immuniser shifts on bank. If you are a frigate red nurse/midwife it’s band 5, if not it’s band 3/4.

Frigate Red is clearly supposed to say REGISTERED!! Not sure how that happened🤷‍♀️

I’m a retired nurse but am on the COVID register (NMC) so work as a RHCP at a vaccination centre - band 5.
I work 3 long days a week 8-8. We get 30 mins lunch in that shift (unpaid).

You can do short days as well E - 8AM - 2PM (no break) or L 1.30pm-8pm (30 min unpaid break).
I’m on top band 5 so pay is £16.16 per hour.
