Can the sun and high temperature cause a fever?

There's an indian summer where I am and gets hot. About 20/21 degrees. I really don't tolerate the sun very well. I practice sun safety and avoid the sun but there are times when I do need to go out in it for work. I was tired all day. I didn't sleep well last night because of a sore tummy. I thought nothing off it and thought it was from my period. Just now I found a fever that is high. Its 38.4 and 38.5 in the two different ears.

Will the sun cause that it is that a cause for concern? I will monitor the fever over night and I will isolate in case it's a viral infection. I don't think it is a viral infection. I was in the exact same place last month at the end of the heatwave and also at the end of my period. I had the sore back and body and I had a fever and my energy was drained.

Just wondering can the sun and heat cause such a spike in the temperature. My temperature is usually around about 36.9 to about 37.4/37.5. It's low in the mornings and increases as the day goes on.

That sounds like an infection rather than sun. The body is pretty good at regulating its core temperature and keeping it stable. Have you tested for covid?

Sun stroke?

It doesn’t look like sun stroke rather like viral infection.
And 20-21 is not hot.

I don't think it's sun stroke because I really am avoiding the sun. Sometimes I do have to go out into it but I wear sun screan, I seek shade, I drink water. I could probably drink more water.

Agree, 20/21 is not hot. I'd get a PCR

No I haven't tested for covid but I will isolate and go for a test tomorrow. I don't think it's covid.

I was in the exact same position last month too. Its probably a bacterial infection somewhere. Lower back or tummy. I don't know. I was taking antibiotics last month. I was in good form over the past month and then it hit me all over again. The same symptoms. Lower back pain and tummy ache and I am associating it with my period and the sun/heat even though I wasn't sitting in the sun.

Your temperature does increase around the time of your period. I struggle to sleep because I'm warm when I'm on.
20/21 degrees is not an Indian summer, it's not even hot, so will not have caused sun stroke.
If you are worried about Covid then get a test.

I really don't tolerate the heat very well. Under 20 with a cool breeze is my sweet spot. I don't think it's sun stroke. Would it be heat exhaustion, I wonder?

I will take over the counter medicine and isolate and test tomorrow. I don't think it's viral. I'm more worried of a bacterial infection at this stage because I was here last month.
