Please recommend a Ring doorbell

I live alone and have a wired chime doorbell currently but would like a ring one for security - not sure whether to get a wireless or wired but ideally something simple that I can install myself - any ideas please? Doesn't have to be a Ring if another make is as good - want to be able to record and have access to the recordings for a short while

thanks so much

I have the battery Ring doorbell and three battery Ring cameras. I love them. Really simple to install and work well. I pay about £8 a month for saving the recordings, that is for unlimited devices. I think for one device it is £2 a month.

Look at the Eufy ones, better quality and no subscription fee to view the footage (all saved in your home too so safer). They have both wired and wireless.

We have a Eufy doorbell - no monthly fees or anything, like some, eg Ring. It is great!

I've got the RING video cam one from John Lewis. I think it was £119. My friend told me and honestly the picture quality is fantastic and it's really good that you can speak to people through your mobile and see what's going on.

I wish I had one years ago. I wouldn't be without it now.

We have 2 Ring video cameras and they are brilliant . The picture quality is always great , including the night vision . You can set the sensitivity of movement which sets it off and block out and areas which you do not want to be in the range you see / record . When we are out we can ask delivery people to leave packages in a specific place by speaking through the cameras . If I had a vulnerable relative I would ask if they wanted one to connect to my phone and I could even ask callers questions without them even knowing that I wasn’t in the house .
