Reverse panda sunburn

Went out without sunscreen (I know, I know, but in my defence it was foggy when I left the house). It brightened up and I happily fell asleep in the sun in oversized sunglasses. The sunburn is not bad enough to worry about but I look weatherbeaten to say the least, but with big white eye circles.

Is there anything I can do to make myself look less ridiculous, or do I just have to style it out with an insouciant air? Today it is grey and we're going to a bookshop and a castle so I'm not going to be wearing the sunglasses for most of the day. Would blusher on the eye area for an even redness work?

The blusher idea is one I think you should put aside for now. Do you have any foundation?

A good full coverage foundation and concealer!

Green primer from Boots will help take some of the redness out.

I wear sunglasses all year round and no one is going to notice you in a bookshop if you take your glasses off.

I Ski and even with sunscreen the rest of my face compares to wear I have worn goggles will look more tanned.

I haven't had this look since I last skied a few years ago and have lost all my concealing skills! Am on holiday with a very minimal makeup bag - only blusher and mascara with me - so the foundation idea will need a special trip into town. Maybe I will just do teenage hair-over-face.
