What do I do with this surprise on my breakfast banana?

Poke it?
Flamethrow it?
Take off and nuke the site from orbit?
Stop being so wet, scrape it off and eat as usual?

I would definitely go with the flamethrower option. Plus a bbq banana is nice, so win win!

Put it in a sealed container and take it back to the supermarket I believe is the correct thing to do, in case it's something exotic.

I wouldn't want to flood the area (my kitchen) with a potentially invasive species. So flamethrower it is. Although that scene in Arachnophobia makes me think it might not do the job!
