Hi everyone!, need some help please!

Looking for flower girl shoes, in ivory or white. Foot size 5.5 / 22?? (Can you tell I don’t have children yet?!)

Finding it hard 1) to find any store that does children’s half sizes
2) anything that’s not a trainer!
3) if they do have suitable stuff - looking at you Next - then they’re out of stock

Any ideas please welcomed.
Have tried;
Next
John Lewis - bitterly disappointed, they don’t do half sizes??
Rocco
Monsoon
Jojo Maman Bebe
River Island

Meant to say, in an ideal world it would be a simple Mary Jane type shoe, but at this rate I’ll take anything!

Have you checked dance shops?

I got my step daughter plain ballet flats and customised them with a glue gun and sequins/beads.

Are Debenham's still operating online? I got some lovely ones for my dd from there - but that was 2 yrs ago!!

Or try amazon/ ebay - you may be lucky and pick up brand new/ never worn pairs for fraction of price.

Not sure if they do half sizes but rainbow club do lovely flowergirl shoes

Normandy144 · 24/08/2021 23:55

Have you tried Matalan? I got some silver Mary Jane style shoes from there. They had a bow and were perfect for my flower girls.

Rainbow Club

All 3 of my flower girls had half sizes. We bought bigger shoes from John Lewis and used heel grips.

Light in the Box - any good?

reluctantbrit · 25/08/2021 07:41

Monsoon?

Don't use Light in a box if you want to send them back, really bad experience.

Have you tried Bridal shops?

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 25/08/2021 08:11

How about white ballet shoes. I just googled and the first (leather) came up with half sizes.

DirtyBlonde · 25/08/2021 09:12

If they're actual ballet shoes,y ou may need to size up anywhere between 1-2 sizes as real dance shoes are tight. If you went up,1.5 sizes then that might solve the sizing issue

These satin ones have a detailed size chart

www.katz-dancewear.co.uk/productpage.php?product=905&name=

Buying two pairs in adjacent likely sizes might be an option? They're under a tenner

ie half the price of the Light in the Box ones - didn't know about returns issues, but as op is getting desperate, and as DC feet can grow erratically/rapidly, I'm guessing the ceremony must be very close. If it isn't, then shop nearer the time as her feet may have grown

She said in opening post that Monsoon are out of stock completely in that size.

I didn't know about Light in the Box returns, but at least size 22 is showing as available
